Why are some people lucky and have it easy while most have to struggle – The crazy thing about Law of Attraction and avoid this biggest mistake

I used to think that life was really unfair. I used to go crazy thinking about why most people have to struggle their whole lives away for only a few moments of peace and success while others, who don’t worry, toil or struggle seem to get everything that they want. I’m sure you know someone who’s lucky as a horse shoe!

WTF! WHY?

If you have ever pondered on this question like me, then let me tell you that from whatever I have learned in life and written my books on, I have found one crucial distinction between those who get what they want and those who don’t.

The answer might shock you because when I found out the answer, I was flabbergasted. Believe me the answer was so simple and easy that I thought I had made a mistake. It was so simple that I couldn't believe it.

The next question that popped up in my head was that if it’s so easy, why doesn't everyone follow this concept?

That’s when I found the reason rearing its ugly head and staring straight into my eyes.

We as humans have a terrible need to complicate things, I too was guilty of having this terrible need to over complicate, over think and overdo things. It's because it was so easy and simple is precisely the reason it's so hard to believe in.

The people who seem to have all the luck in the world believe that they can get what they want. They don’t get lost in the struggle. They don’t doubt themselves. They don’t care what others think. They just make a decision and go for it.

Simple, Right?

You would be surprised as to how many people don’t follow this simple concept. They just keep on struggling like the proverbial donkey and carrot on the stick. There is a lot of movement, noise and motion but never much progress.

Here’s the reason, struggle creates more struggle and ease create more ease!

That’s why when one thing goes wrong, everything starts going wrong and when one thing goes right, everything begins going right. That’s why the rich become richer and the poor become poorer.

That’s why some actors, models, singers, salespeople etc. attract more good work and clients to themselves even though they already have more than enough work! Whatever you are focused on and give energy mentally to grows!

The craziest thing about Law of Attraction is that the Universe does not give a flying rat’s ass about what you believe in.

There are people who don’t even believe that the Law of Attraction exists and then the Law of Attraction goes ahead and proves to them that it doesn't exist. The Law of Attraction just says that no matter what you believe in, it will make it come true for you.

So if you believe in the Law of Attraction and if you meet someone who doesn't  NEVER EVER try to convince that person that Law of Attraction works or exists. The truth is if that person doesn't believe in it, the Universe will have given so much proof, evidence and manifestations to them that in most cases, they have a better case than yours and you will lose that argument.

Give up your need to be right and prove others wrong, you'll save yourself a lot of trouble.

Also, here’s another law of the Universe. What you resist against always persists. When you fight against something, you are actually giving it more power and attention to anything is what keeps it alive.

“You will always attract and keep in your life the things you love or hate deeply.” –Ankush Modawal

So if you believe that struggle is good for the soul or that success requires hard work, guess what the Law of Attraction will bring to you before you can get success?

BUT, here’s the thing.

People get so lost in their struggle and become so frustrated in the achievement of what they want that they mess things up even more. It’s an endless cycle, until you open your own eyes to a greater and a better truth about how life works.

A miracle story: Feng shui and finding gold

Since I am a Feng Shui practitioner and know the importance of keeping our surroundings clean, I began cleaning my home on the 15th of October.

The story begins on the 22nd of October, right on the next day of my mom’s birthday. Since it was Navratris, which is an auspicious time for Indians, I usually clean my home at this time of the year.

We donate whatever has been unused for a long time, fix whatever is broken and buy new stuff. Also, since it’s Diwali on the 13th of November, I wanted my home to be as clean as possible before the festival of lights.

So, on the morning of 22nd October, when I asked my mom for what needs cleaning, she gave me a box full of her old sewing kits.

Sewing and knitting were once one of my mom’s hobbies. But since she didn’t feel any inclination to pursue it anymore, she felt that it was finally time to part ways the thread rolls, needles and the hundreds of buttons that she had collected over God knows how many years.

As I sat with her on the table, I began sorting out everything. My mom was a bit nostalgic and on some level even sentimental because once all this stuff meant a lot to her, and now it was all going to go away. It happens sometimes that you feel sad, when it’s time to say goodbye to your old things, even if they don’t serve you anymore.

Occasionally, whenever I saw something that might be of value, I asked my mom if we should keep it. Since she was more attached to this stuff but had made a decision to let it go, I thought I would make it easier for her and finish this work as quickly as possible.

“When we let go of the old and familiar, the universe gives us the new and exciting.” –Ankush Modawal

While I was going through the button box, I found a men’s suit button which was quite unique. It had etchings like usually only gold cufflinks or jewellery does. I immediately asked my mom about it.

She looked at it casually and told me, “I don’t remember this one but it resembles one of the gold buttons that your grandfather had given to your father on our marriage.”

I was like, oh alright, cool.

Until she said, “There were 4 gold buttons and we only have 3 now, one of them got lost years ago.”

My mind, instincts and intuition all became active in an instant.

I thought to myself, what if this button that I am holding right now was the same one that got lost?

I asked my mom the question that was on my mind, she was skeptical in her answer. But I insisted.

My lizard brain was telling me that what I was holding right now was made of gold.

“So if this button matches the 3 others that you have, then what will you have to say about me?” I asked her.

She laughed.

"There is a very slim chance that this is the same one."

"But what if it does turn out to be real gold?" I asked.

“I will say that I raised a genius, with super powers and a complete miracle worker,” mom said unmoved.

My mom is one tough cookie. So getting an opportunity to prove something to her was delicious! It was more like a challenge.

Every son and daughter wants to prove to their parents that they raised a gem of a person, and I was going to prove to her that she raised solid gold!

I said, “Fine, let’s see those other 3 buttons and I am damn sure that this one will match them.”

She said, “I would love to but they are in the bank locker and I don’t have time to go there today.”

My heart sank a little but my spirit was already soaring.

“When can we go then?”

“Hmmm, Thursday looks good, 25th.”

This was the conversation I had with her on the 22nd. Today is the 25th and I went with mum to the bank lockers and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

After so many years, the Gold button is finally reunited with it's family! =D

Now some of you may feel that I just got lucky or that it’s good fortune, luck or fate or destiny. But miracles happen to people every day. I know that because too many things that don’t make any sense, defy logic or aren't practical have happened in my own life.

I have seen many miracles happen in the lives of my readers as well and they happen on a daily basis.

This is just one of the crazy stories I am sharing with you because I want you to live a good life. If you haven’t already read my books (especially the Black Books and the Gold Book), make sure you do because you would be doing yourself a huge favor. Understanding how life, this Universe and miracles work is paramount to living the life of your dreams.

It’s my job as an author to give you as much knowledge as I can and your job to make sure you read it. If you found this little incident that happened in my life inspiring then do share it with your loved ones as well.

Life’s good, God is great. See you soon!

How to heal the regrets of the dark past, once and for all, for good

Everyone has some memory that they would like to delete from their mind. Maybe it’s something you wish had happened or maybe it’s something you wish shouldn't have.

In any case, feelings of shame, guilt, anger, betrayal, loneliness, helplessness, hopelessness, revenge, sadness or any other negative emotion is normal.

I have been there.

People who used to say shit like, “It doesn't matter, get over it, etc,” I used to want to kill them with my bare hands! I felt like nobody understood me.

Until the day I could not bear the pain anymore, I decided to face my demons head on and the insights I found sorted out my issues completely.

Is the wall really moving or is it just your mind that's making it up?
"It is not the incident itself but how we see it as with which we make our lives Heaven or Hell." -Ankush Modawal

Case # 1
If it’s the painful truth you got to know regarding someone from that very person:

Be grateful, that he/she told you something very intimate. Just like a smart person doesn't go about advertising their feelings because the market isn't always ready, be glad enough that you are special enough to know the truth.

I know, truth sucks and we have our own versions of how life should be. But we don’t get the simple fact that life is beautiful. Just like a seed, takes time to grow into a tree, maybe whatever is happening or has happened is just a tiny step for you to become what you want to be.

Case # 2
If you got to know something about someone from someone else:

"When someone lies to us, it's for two reasons only, either they are saving themselves by lying or are saving you from the truth." -Ankush Modawal

Ask yourself, these questions:

a). Do you trust the person who told you this?
b). Are there others who could validate this?
c). Is the person in question here deceptive by nature?
d). Does he/she lie often?
e). Do you suspect there is more to this than meets the eye?
f). Does this person bring you down?
g). Is this person unreliable?

If the answers to most of these questions are yes, then there is a pretty high chance that this person is toxic.

If he/she matters a lot to you, you can try to confront them but if you are then constantly met with denial, it is best you both part ways for your own sake.

"Don't try to fix another's life so much so much so that it fucks up yours." -Ankush Modawal

However, if there is a genuine problem, try to help them as much as you can and encourage them to be kind to themselves and others.

Case #3
When you can’t change what happened:

Whatever happened wasn't that glamorous anyway as much as we dramatize it in our minds. Our own imagination can become our greatest enemy by conjuring up images that will only lower our self esteem. While we cannot change what happened, we can change how we think about it.

Realize that just like you were a very different person one year ago or two years ago, the same is the case with everyone. They might also have not known you at that point of time so it’s irrational to blame them or yourself.

“A single idea is enough to change your perception about anything.” –Ankush Modawal

You are always going to be dealing with your mind. The more you think about something, the more alive that idea becomes. So what you are actually seeking refuge from is your own imagination. A change of perception or perspective is required.

There are a lot of sides to a single story and if that story hurts, then you are probably looking at it the wrong way. Communication and listening is the key here.

Everyone involved should be allowed to speak in a calm and peaceful manner. Feelings should be allowed to be expressed with compassion and composure.
4 or 3 or both, who's right?

“Whatever happened might be painful, but the extent you suffer would be the exact amount of time you think about it.” –Ankush Modawal

Also remember that time heals everything. If anything that bothers you happened recently, give yourself time, permission to cry and get it out of your system.

Case # 4
If it’s you who did something horribly wrong and seek comfort in your present:

A lot of people refuse to feel guilt or shame so if you are one of those nice people, who do feel bad over hurting others consciously or unconsciously, know that nobody is perfect. The first to accept his/her mistake is the wisest and the most peaceful.

I hereby pronounce you, forgiven!

Given the circumstances you faced, the person you were, the company you kept at that time or your upbringing, there are a lot more things that could have led up to what you regret. The answer is always love and lies in to seek the forgiveness of others or oneself.

"In every painful situation, either something needs to be forgotten or someone needs to be forgiven." -Ankush Modawal

10 Tips to More Confidence

Confidence is universally attractive. It is an ability that comes easily to a person who has a Lamborghini parked in his mansion, someone who has loving relationships or is in perfect health and shape. But you might not have the former mentioned things and they are neither required for you to become confident in yourself.

Follow the ten tips mentioned below and see how differently the world will react to you then.

"The world either stops and make way or goes with the person who knows where he is going." -Ankush Modawal

1) Speak: Communicate your thoughts. People are not psychics (some of us are), but most aren't. Let others know what you are thinking and what's on your mind.

2) B +ve: There is way too much negativity in this world as it is, so be positive and you will instantly separate yourself from the crowd.

3) Initiate: Too many people procrastinate just out of the fear of failure. Be the fountainhead of the change you wish to see. This is the most important quality of the people who win.

4) Body Language: Stand up straight. Smile. That's about it.

5) Grooming: Get a haircut. Shave. Cut your nails. Look your best and be the type of person others would want to be seen with.

6) Clothing: God might have given you your body shape and height but you always have the choice to wear what suits you best. Whether you are blessed with a good physique or not, wear clothes that compliment your body and not those who compete with it!

7) Scent: Out of all the senses, the nose is what triggers memories the fastest in us. Everyone remembers the smell of the mud in the rain, walking past a bakery or a barbecue joint. Every man and a woman must have a perfume that accentuates your presence.

8) Thinking: You become what you think about and you attract what you think about. So think about what you think about.

9) Help: Only those who have compassion for others can have compassion for themselves. Helping others sends a powerful message to your subconscious that you have enough for yourself of what you have given to others. That's how you attract back to you what you give.

10) Relax: Stress kills, nobody has ever died of chilling out yet. A freaked out person doesn't inspire confidence so learn to remain calm and peaceful.

Law of Attraction and Sleep Patterns

That old saying, early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise has changed to early to bed, early to rise makes other people suspicious!

"Today, not only do we have information at our fingertips, we get information by our fingertips. We press a button, the T.V is on. We press a button and boom, the latptop is on. We press a button and hallelujah, we're on a video call with someone halfway across the globe. The mighty finger is what decides what goes into your mind. And remember, that it is your finger clicking the mouse or tapping the touch pad that brought you here." -Ankush Modawal

All this is great but there is a downside to the world coming in closer and time zones becoming practically non-existent. The downside is; nobody is getting enough sleep these days, including me! My wake up call came a few days back when I found myself reading the message I had typed for a friend of mine as a reply to his.

Sleeping early bro, see you in the morning.
This message was typed at 3 AM.

"You don't realize what you are doing wrong until you catch yourself doing it." -Ankush Modawal

My favorite cartoon character, Garfield, doing one of my favorite things

The thing is, nobody even knows why we sleep. We just do. That's as much as what the majority of the people know about sleep. But sleep has so much more chemistry behind it than just giving the body rest.

When you sleep, your mind goes into an alpha state several times during the course of your sleep. Alpha state is a very beneficial and resonant vibration that tunes in to the vibration of greater healing. This is the time when you are open to sudden flashes of brilliance, inspiration and a time when your subconscious is most receptive for positive suggestions. Also, it a time when the brain produces the yummy or happy chemicals which promote the overall feeling of well being. Ever wonder why you had a really smart thought or a piece of music just 'came' to you, when you were almost asleep, but you couldn't remember it later when you were wide awake?

The two most important chemicals that sleep produces is Dopamine and Dimethyltryptamine. That's why you are groggy when you wake up and feel as if you are drunk or high. It's because you are!

The body is the most complex chemical factory in the world and it has the ability to heal and restore itself no matter what. So many people smoke weed or marijuana even after the government has banned it because it is believed that smoking weed releases more quantities of Dopamine in our body. Plus, Cannabis has Delta 9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC). That's why Dopamine is lovingly called by a lot of people, dope.

During heavy REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, the body produces DMT or the spirit molecule. I will not go into detail about all these things but I have included the terminology so that whoever wants to educate themselves more on this topic can type in the keywords and do so. I'm not against any drugs or support the use of drugs, the main purpose I am writing this article is so that you can think for yourself by educating yourself about the complexities that go behind something as simple as sleeping.

If you feel like this in the morning, you know what I'm saying
When you deprive your body of sleep, then these essential chemicals aren't produced in enough quantities. So then what does the body do? It gives you cravings or food or drink inspirations! So now, the body starts to replace the best quality chemicals it can't get or produce within itself by getting other cheaper replicas or raw materials it can get from the outside world. So now, it starts craving alcohol, junk food and other stuff that's not the best thing for your body. Before you know it, you are working all day and to de-stress yourself, partying all night.

Now, don't get me wrong. I am a fan of alcohol and food myself, but I binge occasionally, on some weekends. If you are ordering junk food and drinking every day or night, wake the fuck up and go to sleep on time!

Lack of sleep causes depression as well. More than half the women in this world act crazy and have mood swings because they aren't getting enough good sleep. Do you realize when you haven't had enough sleep, you feel really fucked up. That's the time when you start attracting negative things in your life.

People see me as a really wise, smart and intelligent guy. You should see me when I haven't slept properly. I am like Bruce Banner when I am well rested and I turn into the Hulk when I am sleep deprived. Yes, and HULK SMASH! Hey, even I turn into a crazy cranky asshole when I don't get enough sleep, and since a lot of people look up to me, I owe it to them too to feel as good as I can.

Remember, your thoughts and vibration is how your manifest things in your reality. So to have positive thoughts, you must have a positive and healthy frame of mind, thus the importance of sleep cannot be expressed enough in this brief article.

Law of Attraction is like the Law or Gravity, I am amazed to see people who still act like the Law of Attraction is an option that they can choose to follow or not. You can deliberately use it to create the life of your dreams (like all successful people did and do) or you can be the average human being who never truly reaches his or her true potential and remains dependent upon random people and events.

"I used to have a life, now I have a cellphone." -Ankush Modawal

My biggest challenge to overcome crazy sleep patterns was my cell phone. I can log off my Facebook, Twitter and email accounts but I carry my cell phone with me. On any given day, I receive about 100 messages and 20 calls that I try to reply to. I have a habit of replying to people's calls and messages ASAP, but sometimes, I just switch the fucker off. I realized that no amount of super human effort I could make to stay in touch with everyone personally every day, it was hurting my health. I was hours on the phone just to 'catch up' with everyone until the day I decided to catch up on my sleep.

It's time for you to dream sweet dreams

And come to think of it that all this shit can be avoided by just getting enough and regular sleep! Try it, for one week, set a time limit for yourself, say 9 PM or 10 PM. No matter what happens, shut down your laptop, switch off your cell phone, fellas tell your girl that she can talk about the shit that happened to someone else, ladies tell your guy to have sex with you early, tell your boss that you can't do overtime for a week, or whatever that's standing in your way to a nice, restful and regular sleep. Like Nike says, just do it and you will love me for it.

P.S: I woke up whole night to write this article.

P.P.S: I know you love me.

Spiritual Lessons from an Ant

While having my tea today, I noticed a small ant on the floor walking briskly and purposefully towards the living room of my home. I don't know why, but a feeling of curiosity got the best of me and I decided to follow my new friend to see where it was headed.

My little friend took about a minute to complete it's journey and I walked about 15 feet to follow him. To my amazement, he had found himself a treasure! A sugar crystal that must have accidentally fallen on the floor yesterday when I was having tea in my living room. Now, the small piece of sugar crystal that once belonged in my tea belonged to this ant.

It is a known fact that an ant can carry up to 50 times it's own weight. I watched in amazement as my little friend lifted the sugar crystal that was much bigger than him and although he could not walk briskly anymore, he walked with even more purpose than ever before. I stalked him for a while but then I just let him go to wherever he belonged.

While watching my friend as he scurried off to wherever he came from, I realized that this truly is a Universe of abundance and that God looks out for each and everyone of it's children, no matter how big or small we are. If I can 'accidentally' drop a sugar crystal a day before and this ant can find it a day later, then I am inclined to believe that whatever we do or that happens to us is a part of a much bigger and better plan.

"We have no idea how many lives will be affected by the consequences of our words or actions." -Ankush Modawal

I waved goodbye to my little friend but he did not wave back, I think it was because his mouth and hands were full.
